Bacalar

Located on the far south end of the Rainey Street District, Bacalar is an upscale, Yucatan-inspired Mexican restaurant from Top Chef season 18 winner Gabe Erales. While Mexican flavors are the star of the show here, the menu also focuses on the Lebanese, Spanish, and Caribbean influences in the region. It’s open for dinner, with a casual walk-up taco window expected to open in the near future.
